In Centre County, there are a myriad of resources, services and agencies that are committed to helping members of our wonderful community. However, many people do not take advantage of the resources because they don’t know who to call, what type of assistance is available or how to resolve their problems. The guide provides insight into community nonprofit and for-profit organizations, in-home services to residential and living facilities, medical agencies, basic needs and community connections. Juneteenth Art Exhibition and Block Party Link

ASL Interpreting Services

Penn State University has a full-time certified sign language interpreter on staff to provide communication access for deaf and hard of hearing staff, faculty, and guests of the University Park Campus during the Fall, and Spring semesters. Learn more »


Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity

Provides a comprehensive range of education, information, and advocacy services to students, faculty, staff, and alumni. We work to create and maintain an open, safer, and inclusive environment honoring gender and sexual diversity. Learn more »

Gender Equity Center

Supports students who have been impacted by sexual violence, relationship violence, stalking, harassment, and other campus climate issues. In addition, the office works to educate the campus community about Gender Equity issues and to provide workshops and resources for the prevention of sexual violence. Learn more »


Multicultural Resource Center

Provides individual college counseling and educational services for undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds at University Park and assists students in meeting the challenges associated with education and attaining a degree at a major research institution. Learn more »
