Research Resources

The College of Nursing Research Office is a support unit that provides an organized infrastructure designed to assist graduate research faculty and their interdisciplinary teams throughout the various stages of their projects, from proposal preparation and obtaining funding to the dissemination of results in peer-reviewed journals and at national and international conferences. Services provided include:

  • Funding searches and retrieval
  • Assistance with grant applications
  • Budget preparation
  • Editorial consultation
  • Graphics preparation
  • Assistance with IRB approval process
  • Scheduling internal scientific reviews
  • Manuscript review and editing
  • Design and creation of posters and presentations

The Center for Nursing Research now provides consultative services on quantitative and analytic approaches by Dr. Jacquie Mogle to College of Nursing faculty and graduate students. To request a consultation, please complete a service request which will be forwarded to the Center for Nursing Research. You will receive a response within 2 business days.

Weekly NIH Funding Opportunities and Notices

REDCap: Secure, free, web-based application for building and managing on-line databases for research. The site has a training resources page with an on-line video tutorial to learn about the system. Besides being able to enter and summarize data and surveys it is possible to create project specific reports.
