A Message From The President

Dear Nursing Alumni and Friends,

First and foremost, we are proud of all our Penn State nurses that have worked tirelessly throughout this pandemic.  Your acts of kindness, caring, compassion, and selflessness have not gone unnoticed. You are truly an inspiration to all Penn State alumni, students, and faculty.

As we continue to make our way through these continuing challenging times, we look to the exciting possibilities that this new year holds for the students and alumni of the Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing.

Currently, we are seeking nominations for the Alumni Society’s Alumni and Student Awards (https://www.nursing.psu.edu/alumni-awards/). Alumni Award nominations are due January 28, 2022, whereas student award nominations are due February 28, 2022. The Alumni Society Board’s Awards Committee would like your support in sharing the call for nominations and they ask you to consider nominating an alum and/or student (this is a great way to highlight your mentee/mentor).

The alumni society will be developing and sponsoring several virtual and in-person events for Spring 2022, we hope you join us! Check back for updates on the college’s website, and our Facebook group page, “Penn State Nursing Alumni Society.” If you are interested in serving on our alumni society board, please send an email to conalumni@psu.edu, we are always looking for new members!

On behalf of the Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing Alumni Society, we wish you and your families a happy, healthy, and safe New Year. Remember to check your emails for updates on our exciting Spring events!

For the Glory,

Megan E. Verbos
