Maynard is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with certification as a Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist. She has extensive experience in cardiology, critical care, and neurology, having worked at prestigious organizations such as the Mayo Clinic, Stanford Hospital, and Kaiser Permanente. She has demonstrated exceptional leadership throughout her career, including implementing critical care initiatives and managing comprehensive stroke care.

Maynard is an active member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, the American Heart Association, and the National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists. Her professional interests include rural healthcare, quality improvement, systems of care, and community/hospital partnerships.
