Malinak’s clinical nursing background is in critical care and nursing administration. Her research interests include stroke, quality improvement, and community health. Malinak’s current role involves managing day to day departmental operations and partnerships with clinical sites, department programming, collaborating with admissions for recruitment and retention, teaching, and coordinating department events such as shared learned experiences with community partners.
