Cutezo is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the College of Nursing at the Pennsylvania State University.  Her clinical background includes experiences in medical-surgical, intensive care unit, home health, school nursing and family health nursing.  She is a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE). She holds a BS degree and a MS degree in Nursing from the Pennsylvania State University (PSU). She has taught various courses and levels in the PSU College of Nursing for both the University Park Campus and World Campus RN to BS program. She has been instrumental in developing or revamping World Campus courses. She continues to teach  in both residential and online platforms. In 2016, she received the Janet A. Williamson Excellence in Teaching Award from the PSU College of Nursing.  For the past, six years she has been an advisor for the annual PSU Medical Health ( Mhealth), where student nurses compete with other disciplines in developing App solutions to solve client care problems in the community. In 2019, she was selected to participate in the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Apple Educator program for Nurses, based on her ideas for providing care to clients via telehealth in the home care/rural setting. From this experience, she became an Apple Educator. She has presented at state and national conferences on telehealth, online teaching, and other nursing education topics related to community/ public health settings.  She was highlighted in the “Town and Gown” magazine in  2023 on Community Leaders in State College.
