About

Ahn is a nurse scientist whose program of research is to (1) identify risk factors of cognitive decline among older adults at risk of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD), (2) examine the effects of healthy behaviors (e.g., physical activity and healthy nutrition) on cognition and well-being, and (3) find strategies to promote these healthy behaviors among older adults at risk for ADRD and their spousal caregivers, using various study designs, such as epidemiological, experimental, and mixed-methods designs, and syntheses of existing literature.
