Join us to learn more about the Second Degree Program!

Offered at Penn State Harrisburg and Penn State Altoona, this 16-month program for students with a non-nursing bachelor’s degree provides a fast track to a nursing career. Our sessions are offered to help applicants prepare to apply. Please invite others to join. Sessions are open to future year applicants too, including 2027-2029.

Applicants must have completed a bachelor’s degree in a field outside of nursing by the end of the Spring semester before the program start date. A list of prerequisite courses can be found at the website above.

We expect to open the application cycle for fall 2026 on August 1.
