Yost is an Instructor at Penn State’s Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing. As a Registered Nurse and Certified Nurse Midwife, Yost brings 23 years of nursing experience across midwifery, maternal-child nursing, labor and delivery, emergency medicine, long term care, home health, and case management. She has held multiple roles in nursing and medical education, as well as serving as a clinical preceptor for many types of learners. Yost earned her Associate’s degrees in both psychology and nursing from Iowa Western Community College and her Master’s in Nurse Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University. She is currently enrolled in the DNP–Educator program at Penn State University with an anticipated graduation date of May 2029.
