Berish is an Associate Research Professor at the Penn State Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing.  She earned her PhD from Miami University in Social Gerontology as well as her Masters from the University of Virginia and her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame both in Psychology focusing on study of the aging process.  Her research interests are in long-term services and support, statistics and research methods, and aging and healthcare policy.  Berish works in active collaboration with faculty on their research projects and serves as the graduate statistics instructor and statistics consultant for the Nese CON.
