As we make our way through these unprecedented times, we reflect back on the success of our students and alumni in the College of Nursing. We have adapted to virtual classes, graduation, and events. All while our alumni work tirelessly to save lives during this global pandemic. We are proud of all our Penn State nurses. More than 174,000 alumni and friends keep their connection strong to our wonderful university through their membership in the Penn State Alumni Association. Congratulations to our student and alumni award recipients that were honored this spring: Kalei Kowalchik, Stephanie McLaughlin, Jacklyn Bizjak, Emily Bratlee-Whitaker, Martha Dewey Bergren, Ashley Rose Willie, and Joelyn Niggel. The College of Nursing and the Alumni Society celebrate the accomplishments of our exemplary students and alumni. We love hearing about the great achievements of our Penn State nurses in the community. We welcomed five new board members to the PSU Nursing Alumni Society this past year: Corey Hull; Taylor Criste; Glenna Cernuska; Carolyn Garver; and Richie Keene. Our Alumni Society had several board members that reached the end of their term on the board. We would like to thank our outgoing board members for all their hard work and dedication to the College of Nursing, alumni and students. Thank you Wendy Edgar; Judy Weber; Karen Macauley; Pam Spigelmyer; and Mark Harrison for your service!
