Alumni Volunteer Award

Paula Milone-Nuzzo Nursing Alumni Volunteer of the Year Award

This award, established in 2018, is to be presented annually by the Penn State Nursing Alumni Society to an alumnus/alumna who has provided outstanding volunteer service to the Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing.  Volunteer service can be in the areas of mentoring students, board and council service, serving as a preceptor for students enrolled in any education program in the college, etc.  The Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing Alumni Society makes the final decision on the awardee. The nominee must be able to attend the awards luncheon in Spring 2020 (date tbd).

Criteria

1. Must be a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University College of Nursing.

2. Must have outstanding volunteer service to the Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing.

3. Must be able to attend the Spring 2020 Scholarship and Awards Luncheon in State College to receive the award.

Submission Information

The nomination period for the award is now open.  If you know a graduate who should receive this award, please submit a nomination on his or her behalf.  The nominee must be able to attend the awards luncheon on Saturday, March 30, 2019 in State College.

Those wishing to nominate an alumnus/a for this award should check back for the nomination form. The nomination period for 2020 has not been opened as of yet.  You will be asked to provide a letter of support to upload with the nomination form.  If they are selected, we will need a cv/resume so please have that on hand.
