Join us for the inaugural Gail E. Latimer, RN Nursing Leadership Lecture, featuring Dr. Grace Sun
DNP, APRN, FNP-BC and her presentation, “The Future is Now: Preparing Leaders for an AI-Driven World“.
Dr. Grace Sun is a nationally recognized nurse practitioner, educator, and thought leader in AI integration within nursing education and practice. As Assistant Dean of APRN Programs at the University of Texas at Tyler, she leads efforts to transform graduate nursing curricula through competency-based education and emerging technologies, including generative AI. A frequent national speaker and published author, Dr. Sun is known for advancing innovation in nurse practitioner education while emphasizing ethical and practical considerations of AI in healthcare. She serves on the Executive Board of the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties (NONPF) as Secretary and is the founding Chair of NONPF’s AI Special Interest Group. Her leadership centers on collaboration, equity, and forward-thinking strategies to strengthen education and improve patient outcomes.
This event is both in-person at The Penn Stater Hotel & Conference Center and virtual, followed by a Q&A with Dr. Sun.
