The Power of Nursing: Understanding and Applying the New ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses, Part 1
December 2 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

This four-part hybrid (in-person and webinar) series will feature in-depth conversations and education about the newly revised 2025 ANA Code of Ethics.
The current code released in May 2025 is revised every ten years and is the primary guiding ethical document of the profession. The revised edition has many important updates and adds a new 10th provision which addresses the role of nursing in the global health community and emphasizes environmental and planetary health. The revised code also recognizes racism as a public health crisis and integrates intersectionality as a lens for understanding how overlapping identities (race, class, gender, etc.) affect health and access. This aligns the profession more overtly with justice and systemic change. This and many more changes will be explored and discussed. All faculty, staff, and students are welcome to attend.
