Visiting the Hartford Center at Penn State

The Hartford Center welcomes visits from prospective students as well as members of the community who are interested in our work. Visiting is also a great way to confirm your interest in our programs and to enhance your understanding of what we offer.

Our Hartford Scholars Seminar Series is open to non-students, as are the Hartford Nursing Journal Club meetings and semi-annual colloquia co-sponsored by our center. For a calendar of upcoming events, please see News and Events.

Visiting the Hartford Center at Penn State

The Hartford Center is housed within the College of Nursing at Penn State and is located on College Avenue in the Health and Human Development East Building on the first floor adjacent to the Center for Nursing Research. Campus maps are available through the University to download and print. To schedule a visit, contact the Hartford Center’s project administrator at 814-863-5614.

The best days for meeting faculty members and students are Mondays through Fridays during fall and spring semesters. Please note that there is a one-week midterm break each semester, during which many faculty members and students are not on campus.
